Okay！！ I've made my way through almost all of Future State now （I only have the Superman titles left at the time of writing this） and I have to say that this！ This！ Is what I wanted Future State to be。 I'm in the minority of people who have actually really enjoyed Future State。 Don't get me wrong some of it was not the best。 I've found a lot of it depressing or lackluster in some instances。 But the Wonder Woman side of things was excellent！ I really enjoyed all of the stories this volume collect Okay！！ I've made my way through almost all of Future State now （I only have the Superman titles left at the time of writing this） and I have to say that this！ This！ Is what I wanted Future State to be。 I'm in the minority of people who have actually really enjoyed Future State。 Don't get me wrong some of it was not the best。 I've found a lot of it depressing or lackluster in some instances。 But the Wonder Woman side of things was excellent！ I really enjoyed all of the stories this volume collects。 Wonder Woman: 4/5This is our first real taste of the highly anticipated Yara Flor！ I got a little bit of her in the Justice League title， but that was a team book and I didn't really get to know how I felt about her just yet。 But here we really get a taste of her personality， her spunk， her strength！ I have to say！ I think she is going to be making a big place for herself in DC's future。 Yara is a fun character and this was a fun story accompanied by really gorgeous art！ I have no complaints about this one really， I just wish we got a little more about her origin。 However， I know that is going to come in her upcoming ongoing series so I'm okay with a little more mystery surrounding her for now。 Superman/Wonder Woman: 5/5 Loved this one。 Yara and Jon's personalities SHINED here。 I really loved the mix of Superman mythos with Wonder Woman mythos here。 Gods meets Aliens。 It was just really fun。 This one also had a nice lighter and funnier tone to it than most Future State books， which made this one stick out and honestly just a blast to read。 This title has me super excited to get to know these two more in their Infinite Frontier books， in fact I would really love an ongoing Superman/Wonder Woman series featuring them。 They have such a good dynamic and they play off each other really well。 I think this is one of the stronger Future State books （Up there with Aquaman and Catwoman for me！）Immortal Wonder Woman: 4/5The end is nigh！ No。 Scratch that。。。the end is here。 But no need to worry Wonder Woman has it under control。。。sort of？ This was a fun book that takes us right up to the end of the universe with only Wonder Woman as our guide。 I really liked the end here （view spoiler）[ I am taking it as Wonder Woman rebirthing the universe？ If that is what was going on then。。。I think she has a fitting end （hide spoiler）]。 Nubia: 4/5Okay okay okay。 I know I've said it before， BUT this is what Future State could have been。 I appreciate Nubia's story for the fact that it was not a depressing end of days book。 It was not deeply connected to other going-ons in the universe。 It was simply a story of Nubia in the future。 I think that it sticks out in particular for that fact。 This story stands alone from all the other Future State books in that regard。 I wish there had been a few more stories like that in the mix， it might have made things a bit more fun at points。 At the end of the day this was a fun story and it has me excited to see what else Nubia will get up to in the upcoming DC stories。Overall I think this is one of the strongest collections of Future State books。 All of the stories were good and all of them have me excited to read the Infinite Frontier books。 Which is what most of the Future State books should have been doing。 I think this collection of books really put the others to shame， even if I did enjoy a lot of the other stories。 。。。more

Good art， interesting characters， maybe not so original storylines bit enjoyable overall！ It is good that one of the most beloved hero， female hero， Wonder Woman， has someone to pick up her mantle and further the story。

In reading the Future State event （in actuality before management changes swept through DC Comics this have been the new continuity） as digital floppies it makes sense to combine this 2-4 issue series into anthology style TPBs。 I read this as digital floppies， but out of laziness and poor record keeping I'll use the same start date for all of these。 This is one of weaker collections。The Immortal Wonder Woman wasn't necessarily bad， but I found the idea unoriginal and the concept execution fair。 In reading the Future State event （in actuality before management changes swept through DC Comics this have been the new continuity） as digital floppies it makes sense to combine this 2-4 issue series into anthology style TPBs。 I read this as digital floppies， but out of laziness and poor record keeping I'll use the same start date for all of these。 This is one of weaker collections。The Immortal Wonder Woman wasn't necessarily bad， but I found the idea unoriginal and the concept execution fair。 The Wonder Woman， introducing the new Wonder Woman who is from Brazil was a nice surprise。 A well executed shirt， and I would read more of this character。 。。。more
